At least 112 people were killed and hundreds more injured in Gaza Thursday after Israeli forces opened fire while civilians were gathering around food aid trucks, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza. Israel’s military and witnesses have conflicting accounts of what exactly happened. But Thursday’s tragedy marks one of the deadliest single incidents in Gaza since Israel’s war against Hamas began in October.
