Colorado Springs Police are investigating after two people were found shot dead in a dorm room Friday morning at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Police said in an update on Friday that public safety received a report of shots fired just before 6 a.m. inside a dorm room. At 6:05 am., officers were able to get inside the room and found two people, both with at least one gunshot wound, who were dead. Police were then called in, and it is currently being treated as a homicide investigation.
