Description
At Denver International Airport, the new year began with a headache. Not only did winter weather cause cancellations at airports across the country in early January, DIA’s aging baggage handling system broke down, disrupting operations further. Now plans to fix that infrastructure are getting another boost with a just-announced federal grant. The airport is receiving $26.6 million through the Airport Terminal Program, created by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, to continue working on an overhaul of its baggage system.
