Description
A painting of George Washington that dates back to the 1800s was stolen from an Englewood storage unit last month, police said Tuesday.
Englewood Police got a call regarding the theft of the historical art piece on Jan. 22. It was taken from a storage facility in the 3300 block of South Santa Fe Drive. It's believed the theft may have occurred about two weeks earlier, on Jan. 10.
The artwork depicts Washington, the first president of the United States, and was painted in the 1800s, according to Englewood Police.
