Colorado's busiest airport is opening its first new security checkpoint in decades. Denver International Airport (DIA) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday morning to open its new West Security Checkpoint. A major milestone in the Great Hall airport renovation project, the new state-of-the-art checkpoint is scheduled to officially open on Tuesday after a soft opening the last two weeks.
