A Colorado mother suspected of killing her two children appeared in court in London on Monday in the first step in a lengthy process to have her extradited to the United States, NBC News reported. Authorities arrested Kimberlee Singler in London on Dec. 30. Singler took off overseas after her 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son were found dead in a home Dec. 19 in Colorado Springs. She faces two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, three counts of child abuse and one count of assault.
