After a lull in the mountain snowfall overnight, it will ramp up again Thursday. A strong cold front sweeps through the area in the afternoon sending temperatures plummeting once again with the low by morning in Denver near zero with a few flurries possible. Temperatures stay chilly on Friday, but just in time for the weekend, we’ll see a good warmup. Highs in the 40s in Denver and the east on Saturday and about ten degrees warmer on Sunday. Another disturbance will bring snow back to the mountains Saturday night into Sunday. Next week should see drier conditions across the state with highs at or above seasonal norms.
