Current and former Democratic state lawmakers held a rally at the state Capitol calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The rally was spearheaded by Democratic state representative Iman Jodeh, Colorado's first Palestinian-American lawmaker. She said she wanted Colorado's congressional delegation to know they served a diverse group of constituents, including those who support a ceasefire. Jodeh said the continued violence in Gaza won't end the war and that both sides have to stop fighting.
