The Cold Weather Shelter Plan has been activated as frigid winter weather is forecasted to arrive Thursday evening in Denver, city and county officials said. The Department of Housing Stability will open overnight shelters from 7 p.m., Thursday through 7 a.m., Friday to shelter unhoused people from the frigid temperatures.
