The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday that it's investigating after about 19 vehicles were broken into in one night last week in Highlands Ranch. About 4 a.m. Nov. 19, a man and a woman using a stolen Ford pickup broke into the vehicles on Strathfield Lane, Walden Court, Laguna Circle, Goldsmith Drive and Weeping Willow Court. Twelve reports were filed with the sheriff's office, with some people reporting two vehicles being broken into. All but one of the vehicles that were broken into were unlocked at the time, the sheriff's office said.
