A northerly flow over the state will become stronger as our next disturbance strengthens and moves through the area. The result will be gusty winds and light snow or snow showers over northeast Colorado. Snow over the high country will wind down as the Winter Weather Advisory posted for portions of the southwestern quadrant of the state yesterday will expire at 5 a.m. this morning. A brief high pressure ridge will then build into the state Tuesday and Wednesday bringing sunshine and milder temperatures. Then Thanksgiving Day becomes mostly cloudy and colder with snow showers developing for Denver and the east Thursday night into Friday with much colder temperatures.
