Big Brother 26 | BB26 | #BB26 #bigbrother #bigbrother26
Big Brother season 26 gave America an unexpected week with another failed HOH reign by Quinn Martin, a game-changing Veto ceremony by Leah Peters, more fake tears from Angela Murray and Joseph Rodriguez’s ultimate eviction. Quinn played a messy Head of Household by nominating his rival Angela Murray, his ally Kimo Apaka and his formal rival, Tucker DesLaurier’s showmance Rubina Bernabe. But after Leah won the Power of Veto and Rubina won the AI Arena, the BB26 was divided on who they should vote to evict.
Joseph has some strange conversations in the backyard of the Big Brother house, at one point telling Chelsie Baham they were playing the same game even though Chelsie has won two HOH competitions and influenced several votes. Joseph also told Angela he doesn’t see how she could win Big Brother 26.
Leah won the Power of Veto and used it on her ally Angela, much to HOH Quinn’s dismay. Quinn’s 100 alliances caught up to him when it was time to name a replacement nominee, and for some ungodly reason, he named his friend, ally and final two Joseph as the replacement nominee.
Julie Chen-Moonves hosted a wild eviction night, with the houseguests and America unclear if Kimo or Joseph would go home. Leah voted to evict Kimo along with Cam Sullivan-Brown and Angela, who got confused and switched her vote last minute.
Makensy ‘MJ’ Manbeck had the most dramatic vote in the diary room, putting on a performance as she switched last minute to vote out Joseph with tears running down her face. Little did Makensy know, her vote would decide who was evicted.
Quinn’s face after Jospeh was evicted was one of pure shock even though Quinn was HOH and knowingly put his friend Jospeh in danger. Quinn wasn’t blindsided even though he claimed he was. He and many other Big Brother players need to learn what the word blindside means, because if you were given a warning, it’s not a blindside.
Joseph’s eviction revealed how power is shifting in the Big Brother house. BB26 alliances like the Pentagon, the Collective and the Visionaries have largely been dissolved as it appears the houseguests are playing individual games.
Chelsie won the Head of Household competition on Sunday ad the houseguests played a before and after memory game featuring Lisa Weintraub and her infamous edible glitter. She questioned her relationship with Cam and had a hilarious nonsensical conversation with Leah before ultimately nominating Angela and Kimo for eviction.
Big Brother houseguests will compete to see who wins the Power of Veto on Wednesday where Angela or Kimo could secure their own safety.
Come Big Brother eviction night on Thursday, we will find out how the houseguests will vote, how the power will continue to shift in the Big Brother house and if Chelsie will face backlash for her decisions during her HOH reign.
