A St. Petersburg man was found to be living with the decomposing body of his 92-year-old mother. On Sunday, a landlord called police to check on elderly tenant Susan King at her home in Second Avenue South because they were unable to contact her for several months. Officers responded and spoke with her adult son, Michael Moulton. The 67-year-old said King was visiting a friend's home and would be back in a day or two. When police returned the next day, they searched the house and found her body in an advanced stage of decomposition. Moulton was detained for an arrest warrant from 2013 for failure to appear on a theft charge. Police said this is an active investigation and additional charges are pending.
