A fight between a 7-Eleven employee and a customer ended with a man dead on Monday night, according to the Tampa Police Department. It happened around 6:15 p.m. at the convenience store on N Nebraska Avenue. Police said that based on their preliminary investigation, the employee shot the customer during a dispute. Officers arrived at the scene to find a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries. The employee is cooperating with the ongoing homicide investigation. There is no threat to the public.
