In 2023, a former Walt Disney World employee was arrested after he allegedly took an upskirt video of a 14-year-old girl. Now, that girl's family has filed a lawsuit against Disney, media outlets say. According to a report from WESH, Jorge Diaz Vega was working in the Dok Ondar store at the "Star Wars" section of the theme park. The teen reportedly told investigators that on March 30, 2023, he had intentionally dropped a toy, and while picking it up, placed his phone under her dress and hit record. The lawsuit, which was filed on Friday, said the teen began "hysterically crying and screaming" and became physically sick when she realized what was happening, according to WESH. When questioned, Vega allegedly admitted that he had taken upskirt videos more than 500 times over the past six years, according to a report from the Associated Press.
