Description

A man was arrested and charged with DUI after his car crashed into a building in Clearwater on Thursday morning, officials say. Clearwater Fire & Rescue and police responded to the collision around 3:30 a.m. on Court Street. Authorities said damage to the vacant building was about $30,000. The driver, William Cummins, was treated at Morton Plant Hospital before being booked into Pinellas County Jail, where he was charged with DUI with property damage.
