While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to thrive in the win-loss column, the players are not giving the organization wonderful grades off the field. Three years ago, the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) began conducting surveys that led to team-by-team report cards on working conditions across the league. This was an attempt to hold, in large, NFL owners accountable for how they accommodate and support players in a multitude of areas. According to the 2025 report card, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ranked 27th out of 32 teams, with their highest-rated categories attributed to people rather than physical facilities. According to the report, when asked what the team does best, players consistently highlighted the support staff and strength coaches, who earned an A grade this year. The report says the team improved its treatment of players' families from an F in 2023 to a C- in 2024, likely due to the decision to stop charging players for daycare during games. However, the poll indicates several areas still need improvement. According to anonymous Bucs players, they want better food quality and more variety in the cafeteria. Another major concern is locker room cleanliness, where 44% of players reported ongoing plumbing issues and persistent bad odors.
