Description

A 16-year-old Clearwater High School student has died after he was hit by a car while riding his bike Friday morning. The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. at Keene Road and Cleveland Street. According to Clearwater police, the teen was riding east across Keene Road on a crosswalk, but "against the red light" when he was struck by a car traveling south on a green light. The teen was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital where he died from his injuries Saturday morning, according to police.
