Description
It’s a law that’s been on the books in Florida since 1990. Many families have never heard of it until they try to sue for medical negligence after their loved one dies. In Florida if you are over the age of 25, not married and have no children under the age of 25, your loved ones are barred from suing for medical negligence.
It's sometimes called the "Free Kill" law.
Sabrina Davis learned about the law after she lost her father, Keith Davis, to medical negligence in 2020.
