Description
ZooTampa is celebrating a special new arrival of a critically endangered Eastern bongo calf.
Staff said a critically endangered eastern bongo calf was born on Jan. 27 to 9-year-old mother Blitzen and 5-year-old dad Marvin. The calf, named Millie, weighed over 22 pounds and is "healthy and thriving."
Millie joins four other bongos at the zoo, which are Marvin, Blitzen, Lottie and Binti.
