American Airlines is deploying resources to Washington D.C. in response to a fatal midair collision between an American Airlines regional jet and a Blackhawk helicopter, the airline's CEO said. Robert Isom, CEO of American Airlines, addressed the media outside the airline's Fort Worth headquarters overnight Thursday before heading to Washington D.C. to coordinate the airline's response to the crash.
