Description
For decades, live shopping staple HSN (Home Shopping Network) has had a home right here in the Tampa Bay area.
But by the end of 2025, the network's parent company will be shipping out of the Sunshine State and saying goodbye to St. Petersburg for good after 47 years in the community.
Qurate Retail Group, which owns QVC (Quality Value Convenience) and HSN, announced on Wednesday it plans to consolidate its operations of QVC US and HSN. Starting sometime in Q3 of 2025, HSN will move production to Studio Park in West Chester, Pa. where QVC currently operates.
"Qurate Retail Group remains committed to the HSN brand as an important part of the company’s portfolio, and HSN and QVC US will continue to maintain distinct brand voices and focus on growing their distinct customer bases," the news release said in part.
This means production at St. Petersburg's HSN campus will end and the company will shutter its doors here in Florida.
“The HSN brand will continue to be an integral part of Qurate Retail Group as we activate our growth strategy and position the company for sustained success moving forward,” said Stacy Bowe, President, HSN Brand & US Merchandising in a statement. “We have the deepest appreciation to the state of Florida and the St. Petersburg community for their support and dedication over HSN’s 47-year history. We look forward to continuing to delight our customers as we make this transition to our new home.”
