Description
A Haines City Police officer broke into a driver's car after the man fell asleep behind the wheel with 12 empty bottles of wine inside the car.
Officer Sean Bruner responded to a call regarding an unresponsive driver on Jan. 7 in the area of Davenport Boulevard. The officer saw Miguel Anguel Rodriguez, 57, inside, unresponsive behind the wheel with his foot on the brake while the car was in gear and the engine was running, according to a Facebook post.
Bruner positioned his car in front of Rodriguez's car to prevent it from going into traffic before trying to wake him up. After an unsuccessful attempt, Bruner forced entry into the passenger-side window, put the car in park and removed the keys from the ignition.
