A man died after being hit by an Amtrak train on Saturday, officials say. The crash happened near Lindsey Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Dover, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office confirmed to 10 Tampa Bay. According to a statement from Amtrak, the train was traveling from Chicago to Miami at around 3:45 p.m. when it came in contact with the man. No injuries were reported to the passengers or crew onboard. Amtrak said it is working with the sheriff's office to investigate.
