Of the nearly 1,600 people charged for their roles in the Jan. 6 riot four years ago, at least one man from Tampa said he hopes to be pardoned by President-elect Donald Trump. "I would be indescribably honored and gracious if I was to be blessed with a pardon by President Trump," Paul Allard Hodgkins said. Hodgkins could be seen inside the U.S. Capitol with a Trump flag. A picture of a selfie inside the Senate chamber also drew attention. Hodgkins served eight months in prison and was known to be the first convicted of a felony for his role on Jan. 6. During an interview with 10 Tampa Bay, Hodgkins wore a shirt with an image of the day Trump was struck in the ear by a bullet. "I proudly voted for President Donald Trump for my third time this past November," he said. Hodgkins pleaded guilty to obstructing an official proceeding under an agreement with prosecutors. In exchange, prosecutors agreed to drop less serious charges, including entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct. Now a convicted felon, Hodgkins hopes to have his record cleaned.
