More than 43,000 cheese Danishes and cinnamon rolls sold at Walmart stores around the country are being recalled because they may contain pieces of plastic. The voluntary recall from Ohio-based JM Smucker Company LLC is for 2027 cases of Great Value Cheese Danish products and 1602 cases of Great Value Cinnamon Rolls. The Great Value brand products were sold at Walmart stores nationwide, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The cheese Danishes were sold in 16.5 oz packages with the UPC code of 078742201177. The cinnamon rolls, also in 16.5 oz packages, had a UPC code of 078742201160. Both batches had the lot number L092525200 269X. Although the recall was first issued on Nov. 1, it was given an official classification by the FDA Tuesday as a "Class II" recall, meaning the products involved could cause harmful health impacts for consumers.
