Heading into Election Day 2024, more than 8 million Floridians have already cast their ballots — either through early voting or vote-by-mail. And as of Monday, Republicans are leading Democrats by 844,829 votes, according to data from the Florida Division of Elections. Here's how it breaks down. So far, 2.6 million Republicans have gone to the polls in person to vote early, compared to 1.5 million Democrats. However, Democrats have a slight leg-up on Republicans when it comes to vote-by-mail ballots: 1.2 million Democrats vs. 989,822 Republicans. In total, that makes for 3.5 million Republicans and 2.7 million Democrats who have already voted as of Monday, Nov. 4.
