The Treasure Island Police Department shared an update on Facebook Tuesday, announcing that "most of our beautiful beaches are now open to the public." That's welcomed news for many in the area looking for a sense of normalcy. Treasure Island was just one of many communities along Florida's Gulf Coast to be battered by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
