A week after Hurricane Helene devastated Madeira Beach with a record-breaking storm surge, a Winn-Dixie in the area announced it would be providing free food, water and other supplies to more than 500 affected neighbors. The store, located at 15200 Municipal Drive, will host a drive-thru and walk-up distribution event at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot. Supplies will be distributed for free on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last, officials said in a news release.
