Description

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office arrested a man allegedly tied to a nearly 28-year-old cold case, the agency said in a news release. Stephen Ford, 72, is being charged with the murder of 45-year-old Doris Korell of St. Petersburg in 1996. Ford was reportedly arrested in Georgetown, Delaware on Aug. 16 this year and is being charged with second-degree murder with a weapon.
