DirecTV customers who are stuck without ESPN and other Disney-owned channels can receive a credit from the cable provider — if they request it. Disney Entertainment channels went dark on DirecTV Sunday night after the two were unable to reach a new carriage agreement during a busy sports weekend. The company is offering a credit for customers who are affected by the outages. CNN reports that the credit is worth at least $20 to customers with DirecTV, DirecTV Stream and U-Verse services. In order to apply, customers need to go to https://www.directv.com/tvpromise/ and put in their service and zip code. If they're eligible for the credit, it will show up on a future bill and will be applied in up to two billing cycles.
