Description
The National Hurricane Center is keeping a close eye on three disturbances out in the Atlantic.
The first area the NHC is monitoring is in the central tropical Atlantic. It's possible that this area of low pressure will form into a tropical depression by the middle of next week.
This system is expected to continue slowly developing this weekend. This disturbance is moving westward to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph, forecasters say.
The NHC says formation chances over the next 48 hours are nearly 0 percent. As of Friday evening, the NHC is giving it a 50% chance for development over the next seven days.
