Description
A flood advisory is in effect for Pinellas County as showers and storms move through the Tampa Bay area.
According to the National Weather Service, the Pinellas advisory will remain in effect until 8:45 a.m. while the Sarasota advisory will remain in effect until 9:45 a.m. Thursday. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Standing water could linger on roadways throughout the day.
