Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching for the driver in a hit-and-run that left a 48-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured last Thursday on U.S. Highway 19, the agency said in a news release. The incident reportedly happened around 6:10 p.m. on August 8 when the driver of a Jaguar sedan traveling north on U.S 19 tried to change from the right turn lane into the left turn lane, entering the path of the motorcyclist.
