Description

A 12-year-old girl was critically hurt after troopers say she was hit by an SUV driven by her mother Monday morning outside of Booker Middle School. According to a crash report, the girl had just gotten out of the SUV off Myrtle Street at 7:45 a.m. when she dropped markers and pens. She bent over to pick them up from under the vehicle when her 30-year-old mother started driving forward, hitting the girl.
