All northbound lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge on Interstate 275 have reopened to traffic Wednesday afternoon, the Florida Department of Transportation said. An earlier post on X from FDOT showed crews working to put down new asphalt along the outside lane of northbound I-275 on the bridge. On Aug. 5, as Hurricane Debby moved past the Tampa Bay area, part of the roadway shoulder that butted up against Tampa Bay's turbulent waters was washed away.
