The outer rainbands from Tropical Storm Debby continue to sweep across the Tampa Bay region Sunday morning as the system gains strength over the Gulf of Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center. Forecasters anticipate Debby will rapidly strengthen, reaching Category 1 hurricane strength before making landfall at the Big Bend region of Florida late Sunday into early Monday morning.
