Description
Delta Air Lines has suspended flights to Tel Aviv as the waging conflict between Israel and Hamas continues in the Middle East.
Due to the security situation with flights heading into Tel Aviv, Delta announced it is suspending its operations from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to the destination until Aug. 2.
The Atlanta-based airline also announced that if you have a ticket issued on or before Aug. 14, you can rebook your travel beginning no later than Sept. 6.
Delta said that you will not see a fare change if you rebook before Sept. 6, but if you rebook after you could see a price change. The change fee, however, will be waived, Delta announced.
If travelers can't rebook their flight, Delta announced that you can cancel your reservation for the Tel Aviv flight and apply the value of the ticket toward any new flight within one year for the amount of the original ticket cost.
