Description

A water main break flooded a major roadway in the downtown Tampa area. The break began sometime Tuesday afternoon in the area of Ashley Drive at Whiting Street when it was caused by a contractor working in the area, Water Department environmental specialist Ileana Hernandez said in an email. The break has since been isolated and crews are working to pump water out of the street to start making repairs.
