Description
Tropical Storm Beryl is now over the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to become a hurricane before hitting Texas, NHC forecasters said.
As of the latest advisory, Tropical Storm Beryl is about 245 miles southeast of Corpus Christi, Texas. Forecasters say the storm is moving at 12 mph with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph.
Now, a hurricane warning is in effect for the Texas coast from Baffin Bay northward to Sargent.
