Two people were found dead in a condo unit Friday afternoon as police responded to a call for a welfare check, authorities said. St. Petersburg Police Department officers responded around 2:30 p.m. to the Parklane Condominiums, located at 47th Avenue North and 4th Street North, after they were asked to check on the people living there, according to a news release.
