Hillsborough Sheriff deputies are investigating a shooting that injured one deputy and killed two other people. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 11:09 p.m. Saturday on Cactus Wren Place when the caller said her son shot her husband, according to a news release. Several more shots were fired when she was on the phone. When deputies arrived, they found the caller and suspect outside of the residence. The suspect is 19-year-old Christos Alexander who then shot his mother in the back of the head and then fired at law enforcement. Five deputies returned fire, and one was shot in his leg.
