One person is dead after a crash between a car and a dump truck in Winter Haven, police said in a news release. The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. Thursday on Lucerne Park Road and Old Lucerne Park Road. Few details are available at this time but police said as a result of the crash between the dump truck and car, both directions of Lucerne Park Road in the immediate area are shut down.
