Description
A 911 call captured the intense moments a drunken Florida bus driver ran red lights and forced cars off the road while taking students to a graduation trip, according to the sheriff's office.
Highlands County deputies say on Saturday evening, 55-year-old Keith Shifflett Sr. picked up 36 passengers, most of whom were Sebring High School seniors, on a charter bus to bring them to Daytona Beach for a trip organized by Project Graduation.
One of the bus passengers called 911 around 6:30 p.m. to report that Shifflett was driving recklessly.
"There's something wrong with our bus driver. He's not being responsive," the caller can be heard saying.
