A man sits in a jail cell after he was accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian with his car Thursday night on a Tampa roadway. Tampa Police Department officials said 34-year-old Vincent Oliver drove eastbound at about 11:40 p.m. Thursday on Busch Boulevard near North 50th Street in a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta and hit a 23-year-old man walking across the road. Vincent kept going after the impact, according to a press release.
