A small plane crashed Thursday afternoon in Hillsborough County with two people on board. The aircraft went down in a yard at S Parsons Avenue and Forest Circle in Brandon. First responders say they received multiple 911 calls at 3:25 p.m. reporting "an upside-down plane with parachute deployment in a yard." The pilot and a passenger walked away from the wreckage with no serious injuries, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. They were both stable when they were transported to a local trauma center. The fire department said there were "no hazards involving the plane itself" though the parachute was deployed from the aircraft.
