Description
Moving isn't always easy, especially when it isn't planned. Jackie Webster just moved to the Tampa Bay area.
“We just recently moved to Seffner for some unfortunate situations, so we basically have to start all over,” Webster said.
Webster picked up furniture for her new home with her boys.
“The last few days, unfortunately, we've been sleeping on pallets on the floor or air mattresses. It makes a huge difference,” Webster said.
She said the furniture was given to her for free.
“I praise God. I don't want to start crying, but I'm just very happy,” Webster said.
Jeremy Hail with New Life Warehouse has been helping families like the Webster's since 2020.
“We like to say from the couch to the can opener we provide everything. So, when we leave, they've got everything to live a normal, regular, sustainable life,” Hail said.
Hail said most of this furniture is donated but every month they go out and purchase around 150 new beds and mattresses to keep up with the demand.
They've helped hundreds of families get back on their feet, and now, they need help starting over.
