Description
A judge revoked the bond for a Clearwater man on two vehicular homicide charges related to a deadly crash in January because of new charges related to his actions after being released from jail.
At the time of the bond hearing in a Pinellas County courtroom Friday morning, he was already being held in jail without bond over an online threat he allegedly made while out on bond for the vehicular homicide charges.
On Wednesday, Clearwater police arrested 33-year-old Ilia Andoni after they said he made a death threat through a hotel reservation app.
According to the arrest affidavit, Andoni was communicating with someone through a "hotel based electronic app" on Feb. 18 about a reservation he had, when he stated, "Everyone pay one day, stay safe before I kill you."
The victim feared for her life and quickly took down her name from the online conversation, according to the report.
