Description
A lot of folks may have had trouble finding a rideshare on Valentine’s Day - or getting their lunch delivered.
That's because rideshare drivers staged a walkout in 10 cities across the U.S., including Tampa.
“I'm scared this driver is not going to show up,” said Lisa Djabbarova, staring at her Uber app at Tampa International Airport.
Folks like Djabbarova weren’t necessarily feeling a whole lot of love for their rideshare drivers this Valentine’s Day.
The midday strike meant some customers had to wait longer for a ride. Others say they saw cancellations.
“If she ends up canceling and not coming, I'll be really mad,” Djabbarova said. “But, I also get, I get it, I get both sides.”
“Well, our status is one minute, so, we'll see if they come,” passenger Susie Etzel said while checking her screen.
