If you live in Clearwater and are looking for ways to help improve your house but don't have the money to do so, here's an option. The city of Clearwater announced Tuesday in a statement that it will be looking for new qualified applicants for the Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan Program. This program will provide homeowners up to $60,000 in a 0% interest loan – a portion that may be deferred – to help with code-related improvements. This includes roof replacements, ADA modifications of an immediate nature, electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC system, door and window replacements and safety and health hazards.
